Where To Order
You can order devkits and samples here on the ONSemi website. Note, ONSemi also works with usual distributors.
Before starting, you need to make sure you have Sigfox coverage. You can find our latest coverage map on here on our website. If you do not have coverage you can order a Sigfox Coverage Kit here.
Once you received the devkit, you will need to follow the follow the instructions of the application note, which can be found here.
Go to the Sigfox backend and register your device. You will find instructions on how to use the Sigfox backend here.
If you have any issue with communicating, the first thing to do is to isolate the issue:
Is it an issue with devkit not transmitting?
You can check this by using a basic spectrum analyzer and checking if messages are sent in the Sigfox band.
Is it an issue with the Sigfox backend not sending out the data?
You can check this by looking on the Sigfox backend to determine if the messages are being received.
